Hello! I'm Alexa. I am a clinical psychologist practising in Cape Town and online. I provide individual therapy for adolescent and adult clients. I enjoy supporting my clients through their growth and therapeutic journeys by applying a compassionate and attuned approach to each session.

I assist adults and adolescents with anxiety and depressive disorders & ADHD. I provide therapy for traumatic experiences, PTSD, grief and loss, and big life changes. In medical psychology I have experience with chronic illness, amputee patients, and pain conditions. Additionally I work with healthcare and working professionals to combat burnout.

I offer an empathic and compassionate environment for my clients to process their individual psychological needs. I believe that much insight, progress, and healing can occur in the safe space of a therapy room. It is never too late to start therapy, and I encourage you to reach out knowing that support is waiting for you on the other side.

Off Duty

Away from the therapy room, I'm usually in the company of the practice's unofficial co-therapist — my cat, who takes the role very seriously.
